High all, haven't touched this car maintenance wise in quite a while.

Timing Belt overdue, electronic service in a year (but check engine light is not on)...

The car idles quite high (3000rpm or so), throttle linkages are not sticky that i can tell.
Replaced Busted Stepper Motor, and also TPS and other Sensor on Manifold, but to no avail...

Any Ideas, it is only my run around so I am wanting a cheap fix, but if all else fails.

I am thinking either a vacuum leak, a blockage mechanically on the throttle body/butterfly valve, or the idle actuator is seriously malfunctioning.

Hi Grimmy ..Having the same problem as above and checked everything I can. even got an idle control valve from a wrecking yard and still the same..idling about 1500 rpm..I can bring it down to nearly normal with loading the motor but back up next idle..No air con hooked..belt is off..could it be the main computer?
And where is that located?
