Hi Guys i have been having a problem the last couple of weeks where my oil filter O - Ring keeps blowing out.
I have taken it to the mechanic and we have changed the pressure relief valve, cleaned the engine so there is no sludge or anything inside of it.
we have also done pressure tests and everything seems perfect, but the oil filter O -Ring still blows out after i have driven the car for a short period of time, what could be causing this?

This is not a common problem but you should be glad it's the oil filter O ring and not a main crank seal. I found this on a model specific forum - High oil pressure blowing crank seal If your transmission is a manual you will experience shift issues as well...

A theory on why this is happening. Crank has oil journals and oil ports in the bearings. As the crank thrust causes the ports to go out of alignment with the crank, there is a huge increase in oil pressure.That pressure will cause a failure at the weakest point (filter O-ring...)
