Gidday All,

I am looking for all technical information on Hyundai, especially the engine(s). In particular I would like to know the inlet and exhaust valve sizes of the Excel (Accent) 12 valve and 16 valve; the Lantra 1.8 litre and 2.0 litre; and the short stroke Sonata 2.0 litre engine please. I do not mind if you take the head off your engines and measure the diameter for me! Thank you.

Oh OK...I want to input the information on to my Dyno 2000 program. Look at www.motionsoftware.com and you will see what I mean eh.

Hey, I'll get you that info tomorrow.

As for that program, do you have any Dyno runs from a Tib? I can import them into my NIRA game and use them.

I drive a slow car.
0 to 60 in 11 seconds (look out!)

Gidday,

I checked my Dyno 2000 and it has Hyundai:
1.5=2.97x3.29
1.6=3.24x2.95
1.8=3.23x3.35
2.0=3.23x3.68
2.4=3.41x3.94

You choose which one is the Tiberon as we do not have that name in Australia yet...it sounds like the Coupe to me.

Bet you did not make much progress with the valve sizes eh. That's one problem with the Hyundai...they don't break down so the mechanics aren't taking them apart, hence the lack of information about the size of the valves.

Hooray.<img src=icon_smile_shy.gif border=0 align=middle>
