I have a 2002 Sonata and I would like to install a cold air filter. Will that void my warrenty on the car and what's the best kind to get.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

yes... anything you modify on your car will void the warranty...

it all depends on how "COOL" your dealer is with the mods you have done or will do.

You have to remember also, that this item has to I guess 'participate' in damaging the thing. For example and exhaust you will more then likely get away with.

Intake, I think I was blowing up oxygen sensors. I got a talking to, and then I changed the filter <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> (it was dirty).

So well forced induction or nitro would not be a good thing to do.

hey, if i was to do some appearance mods to my 2002 Sonata, would that void the warranty??? i seriously doubt it would because the drivetrain and engine would not be touched......just curious<img src=/images/forums/snitz/guns.gif width=33 height=16 border=0>
