I am about ready to put a torque wrench on my now semi crushed oil filter and snap a photo of what it goes up to. Both the drain plug and the filter are WAY over tightened I am pissed enough to take the dealer or Hyundai to small claims court for my wasted time. Yes I have changed a million filters in my lifetime but crushing a filter with a rubber whip wrench after: 1) couldn't remove with hand on non-oily service. 2) couldn't remove with hand and wrag on oily service 3) the car has less than 2000 miles on it. I am so pissed. Please share your experiences so I can print out and let the dealer no how pissed I am. I will probably have to drill through it and put a screw driver in the dam thing and hope I dont rip the housing off. Christ am I pissed! Hyundai and their ultra sceptical inforcement of wranty work when they over torque themselves
