Hey guys, just a quick question.

When you guys accelerate from 0 mph with fully pressed gas pedal, does your body moves backward violently?
I am asking this because my Tiburon seems to accelerate like turtle! My body doesn't even move a lot (and certainly I don't feel car accelerating quick).

By the way, I think this really slow acceleration is happening due to loss of back pressure (since I installed 2.5" pipe). My question is, would installing SR 4-2-1 header improve low end torque?

Yeah, get the header, BBTB, and CAI if you don't have one now. My 97 FX did the same thing, but once I put my custom CAI on it pretty much took care of the slow acceleration, now it's nice and snappy and has no problem rollen the tires over <img src=/images/forums/snitz/moon.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Hey man i read some where that the pipe should be no bigger than 2 and a quarter inch because anything bigger will cause you to lose hp!

yeah 2.5 and up are for turbos

Arrggg... I should've put 2.25 inch pipe ~~ (stupid!)

Thanx for help. I'll get header anyway... to see if I notice any difference.
