I'm getting new shoes for my ride from Discount tire and i would like your input guys. #1 ATS Venus ( 16x7.5 , 4-114.3 , 38sm ) #2 Fondmetal Type 6700 ( 16x7, 4-114.3 , 38s ) Both will be equipped with Nitto 450 extreme tires ( 205/40/16 ) . Now my question is will these be a direct bolt on with no problems. I'm just concerned about these rotor bolts that i hear about , that i may or may not need to remove them to get the wheel to fit. I just hoping i can throw the them on and cruise. Thanx alot

The 2001 does not use captive rotors and if it did you couldn't just remove the bolts.

If you want people to help you choose a set of wheels maybe you should post some pics. I know I am not going to go hunt for them myself.

cool, but Nitto's suck mang I'd get some Falken's or Yokos. I don't think you'll be very happy with the Nitto's. I've had a few sets and I gave them a chance but they don't grip as well as comparable tires in diferent brands. HTH

I'm not positive, but I think that the tire size should be 205-45-16, if you went to 17 it would be 205-40 17. a 40 series tire will not cover as much are as a 45 series tire. End result would be higher mileage on your spedometer as your 40 tire has to turn more to cover the area that a 45 would cover. So maybe when your car shows that you have 60,000 miles, you actual only travelled 58,000 miles.

Body kit soon, and hopefully Catcams?
