I have a 2000 hyundai elantra and I was doing some repair work and the ignition coil wiring connector was busted on the coil side and on the car side. I have no idea which wires go where. I tried calling the dealership but they gave me the run around. The repair manual I have doesn't give me the wire colors on the coil side. the terminal side is brown, green, and white. The brown going hot with the ignition on. The wires on the coil side are red, black with a white stripe, and white.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ended up fixing the problem. The brown to red, white to white, and green to black. I knew as long as I could find the hot it would just misfire if i had the other two wrong. So, i decided trial and error. Luckily, I got it on the first try.
