Whats the cheapest best pipe to use. I can get mandrel bent alminum pipe for about 30 bucks a bend. I think thats steep. I will be supercharging this soon, so ill buy some pipe for the custom intake im making now, and use it then. What do you guys sugest? And where can i find this pipe from? Thanks.

Just go and buy some intake on ebay and chop it up. Remember the pic of mine. Strait pipe away from heat. That is what you want. A civic intake backwards towards the fender well hole with the bend going into the hole.

Puts your filter in the perfect position for an abundant supply of fresh air. Air only travels through 2 bends ( including stock elbow ).

What if you already have a nice K&N filter thats only a 2 3/4 inch, not the standard 3 inch. I dont want to have to buy a new K&N, but that looks like my only option... Darn..



Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey... anyone want a slightly used 2 3/4 inch intake, 5 inch long K&N cone filter?


Thanks man, they have those same intake pipes at autozone... Ill buy two, hack em up, and get the filter up to the driving light hole.

I bought the universal kit on ebay. Came with all the couplings and clamps with 6 tubes with 90 degree bends on each tube with a nice straight section (each tube). I went with the 2.75... its polished, looks good and works good.
