Has anyone here modified their manual transmission Elantra (from 2001-2006) with a short shifter, shift ball, or clutch/break/gas pads? Have you added in any air filtration systems or changed headers? :hmmm: If so please give details and post pictures if possible!

Please and thanks.:bandit:

I did, but in a 97. ;):

Pads are universal and EASY! follow the directions. if you have a the plastic gas pedal (i do!) you just screw in the pad over it. simple as hell.

short shifter=teh coolness. simple..

intake headers and all that jazz is awsome too. got about a 15-20% jump in fuel economy as well.
Pedals are much easier in 01+ models...the 03+ Tiburon has metal/rubber pedal covers and dead pedal, and they fit perfectly. I think mine cost about $35 on ebay, and the dealer would probably sell them to you. I'm sure http://www.kspec.com and http://www.dreamka4u.com
Short shifters usually come with knobs and aren't horribly difficult to install. I wouldn't suggest the generic knobs that use allen screws to hold it on, those suck. Try to find the kind that will screw on.

This isn't my car but these are the pedals
