Well currently i have an alpine cd player, 2 soundstream spl 12's, soundstream rubicon 502 amp bridged 2 ohm mono, 2 boston acustic 6x9's, wating for the rest of my boston acustic components to be bought later! But i am hitting right at about 145 db pretty concistantly.

I have a 15 in Cerwin Vega Sub in a sealed enclosure powered by a 800 watt Crunch amp. Not sure what i'm hitting at, but I can set off just about every car alarm that i drive by <img src=/images/forums/snitz/tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

How do you like that Sony 760W amp? I was looking at picking on up after christmas.. It'd be driving 2x12 JLw0's with a 2ohm load..

Does it hit? or is it worth shopping around for a diff' amp?

600 watt kenwood amp bridged

NOT EVEN CLOSE OT BEING LOUD ENOUGH

Maybe its time to go up to a Class D 1000W amp.. that should last for a while.. Mmm then the new JL 13W7..

On the other hand, I do have a 18" Kevlar sub sitting here at work. I wonder if they would notice if I dropped it in my car. The box would take up my entire trunk, and part of the rear seats but I bet it would pound..

if you are lookin for a nice sub amp use a rockford, one of the best amps out there, i have 2jl12w3 being run by rockford bd1000.1 you talk about hitting hard they hit around 133 db's
