I have a couple of questions about it though? It looks like it has 2 catalytic converters, 1 muffler and a resonator or two. Is this right and what for?

Also, I noticed it was in for front wheel bearings at 32,000 miles. Is this abnormal?

2 cats, yup thats cali emisions on the car, but the wheel bearings at 32k is not normal, I'm still on my original bearings after 62k on my 99, and I'm REAL evil to my car. Welcome to HP btw

Interesting, California emissions even though it was delivered to Upstate New York.

It's possible the wheel bearings were just checked or adjusted under warranty. Since I am the second owner how would I know if they are bad (Noise, vibration, looseness, ???)?

yah two cats then a res. and then a muff pack. wonderful back pressure, but some engines are designed to have a little back pressure. but not that much lol.

Bad wheel bearings can happen anytime. I had some replaced on my Prelude a few years ago and the new ones went bad after a few thousand miles. Do they squeel?

No not right now but I'll keep an ear for the squealing. Didn't know if it was a vibration and/or noise to watch out for.
