yes, i saw this pretty stock black civic with the gutter-guard type stuff in the grill. it was out in front tho, the way most aftermarket grills in body kits are..so it intrigued me. i stoped to look at it closer (it was parked) and noticed that guy had cut the grill to fit, and layed it over the stock black grill plastic, then taken 'hog rings' and secured it. hog rings are those little metal clamp type things that they use for upholstry fastening. looked really good, and u'd never need to even remove the bumper.

but mine looks ok, i think too <img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

for weeks on end i had been wondering where i could find some good looking grill mesh, i just like how it looks, and as an added bonus, i would help close up the gaping maw of space that the grill holes on the stock accent leaves for stones that large trucks throw on the highway to ruin your radiator ribbing (hey, i had to bring some sort of rational reason to it for justification beyond, "it looks cool" LOL) but lemme tell ya, that home depot gutter guard-gone Grill Mesh..................be real damn careful cutting it...........i bled like a mofo mangling my thumbs on the exposed sharp tips ouch ouch ouch

but on the upside...........the pain was so worth it! it looks damn good on a silver accent, i left the stock grill in front, so the mesh is downplayed, but there for anyone interested in actually LOOKING at the car :) im not into flash, just a lil pizazz.
