Auto Climate can be installed aftermarket in any car. But I think you may be surprised, and the top GT model may have it. As for the other things, yeah they're gone.

Not sure why you're so sour about the release date, because the US is getting the same date as us.

And also there *MIGHT* be more missing in the export version. I studied the SEMA photos very carefully and found that the buttons on the left of the steering wheel is marked blank. This suggests that the hands free mobile phone system wont be available, at least on the 2.0 Liter 5 speed. I am not sure about the 2.7 GT. A british website reviewed the new Tib, they call it the coupe overthere, and said that there were some blanked out buttons on the console. Im thinking the export versions will have less options than the ones in korea.

One more thing, after seeing the US ordering form, I kinda like that name "G-Force spoiler". It sounds very similar to my graphics card, but oh well..=)

If it means removing those things will cut costs, then I'm all for it!

I guess some people will miss the heated front seats and auto-climate system but I won't.

As for the three gauges and the mobile phone system, you don't really need those, do you? The three gauges seemed pretty useless to me and the mobile phone system..

Well, I'm sure there are lots of people with cell phones here but it's not like in Korea where 99.999999% of the population has one.

I'm fine holding my phone in my hand. The gauges would have been cool, but not necessary, and the heated seats...well, just wear warmer pants.

From the 4 2003 Tibs I've seen in person, none of them had the hands free buttons or the TCS buttons on the left of the steering wheel.

Another thing we won't get is the aluminum trim inside. In my opinion, however, the black looks MUCH better. We also don't get the cool red calipers up front .

Don't be surprised if HDK get a lot of that stuff thats missing too. But then again, I haven't had any luck ordering from them, but its an option if Sam can't get anything I guess.

I think everything though should be good to come in, I know I will be gettin auto-climate or the dealership won't get me to sign for it ;) Other then that I don't care about the rest.

Maybe the cell phone system, since as of January its illegal here in Ontario (well thats what I read anyway) to drive a car with a cell phone to your ear. Must be totally hands free. So nice option that wouldn't cost Hyundai a lot to increase sales in Canada.

Smiley, what do you mean HDK, Just joking

Sam Sr may be able to get some of the stuff also a little easier than HDK, like badging, and the brake calipers

Hmmm...not in Ontario that I've heard. Everything I've heard says GTA only.

It's only applied in the GTA, Jon is correct.
But nevertheless, I don't agree with it.

Although, I don't think that will stop people from using cellphones, like the radar detectors which is illegal... people still use'em.

Would the Heated Front seats be available in the top model though?

Oh this just hit my head.. are we not getting the strut bar for 2.7 V6? Now that will get me lots of money to spend on basic stuff.. (Which is all I need..) I thought it was there but I guess it's not.. must be nice to have one though. BTW, I heard there's problem with V6 engine's size and strutbar. I hear strutbar is on the way of Cruise Control system. I am not too sure what that means but.. anybody clear out for me? ^^;

GTA = Greater Toronto Area... meaning Toronto plus the other little cities that are included in the Toronto Area.

I guess you don't live in Ontario, right?

It was from the Toronto Sun I think it was, that I read that. Though I will admit I have been driving with my cell to my ear past cops all the time. Besides tint up the windows and they can't tell at all. I still think it would be nice to have it cause its safer and well more cooler cause its an electronic device

The gauges aren't coming? Looking at the middle fuel consumption gauge more closely it looks like a trip counter almost cause its marked in L/km. Maybe us Canadians will get it cause we like the whole metric system. American Suckers

BTW, the different bumper... Is that with red lights at rear bumper? What is that light for? I never had any idea what that was for..

This is just my guess but, perhaps its for safety reasons(like a light reflector). The european standard for safety is a little higher than the US. For instance, any cars that are sold in Europe has to have side blinker lights attached behind the front wheels. I would like it if the US version comes with it too but Im pretty sure they will not . For aesthetics and safety purposes, having the side blinker light will be great.
