I see a lot of people have put K&N filters on their Hyundai. I happen to know that K&N doesn't make a filter for Hyundais (at least the Accent).

So ... looks like some custom work has to be done ...

Those who have put a K&N on their Hyundai: how did you do it? Which filter did you use? Where can I buy the parts?

You get a cone filter and remove the stock airbox. Then place the filter on the end of the pipe. Make sure you re-install your MAS.

i had to use pluming pipe inside the intake so it could fit

They make one for my excel. Same shape as stock.

They do make a k/n filter for a hyundai accent. I have one on order.

Ripping out the box is definitely the route I'd take. I'm halfway there, already. <img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle> I see, however, people who have actually replaced the stock, black piping with the colored, metal stuff. Even has/had room for the MAS.
