Alright, i really need to chill out on the
street racing stuff... BUT i raced a 00 Yukon
on the way to my friends house.. I pulled it off the line
it got about 1/4 car length ahead of me in second
and when the rev limiter was about to kick in i snapped
the clutch real quick and shifted to 3rd... and pulled
1/2 car length, which when i went into 4th gear
turned into about 2 car lengths... i gave the guy a
thumbs up at the next red light, 5.7 Liter V8 350. 4 speed auto tranny... It's about as aerodynamic as a brick in the wind, but he was a good sport

another one bites the dust...

( im going to the track to race that Si by the way... no more speeding tickets for me lol)

Not 350 hp. lol. Probably around 285 depending what engine he has. If I recall correctly, there is 3 different engines for that car.

i thought they went with a 327ci in 00.. maybe i am wrong.. those are like 327hp.. and the old 350ci was 270something.

The new Chev motor is the 5.3 liter. That transfers into 324ci, I'm pretty sure. I thought they were pushing 280 hp. I might be wrong though. Good kill <img src=/images/forums/snitz/evil.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
