I had a thought today about turbos and accents. Would it be possible to take the exhaust manifold (and turbo, possibly) from a turbo scoupe and put it on the LC accent with the 1.6L? How different are the two engines (the 1.5 and the 1.6)? I only plan on running mild boost, like only 5-10 psi for now, so would i have to change a lot of the internals to cope with the extra stress?<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

I've heard speculation that the manifold are the same for both motors... I mean the Accent 1.5 and the 1.6. I am still waiting for a response from the Hyundai engineers on this matter. I'm saying this because I'd be looking into supercharging mine!

if u r superchargin yur car, why would u need a new exhaust manifold? superchargers are only on the intake side.
