LC2 Fog Lights

Can the bulbs be changed in the factory driving lights? I want to go with yellow fogs, and I don't think that simply tinting the lenses (which I'm going to do anyways) would cut it. I also don't want to neccisarily have to fork over money for new ones.

You should be able to just change the bulbs I doubt they would make you replaced the entire asembly when a bulb goes out.
Yeah the bulbs are replaceable...I think they're H3's, but I'm not completely sure. I looked for a good 30 mins online (nothin' else to do!), and I can't find the fog replacement sizes.
i believe the bulbs are size 881......... dont quote me on that...... i took mine out and i looked at a chart and 881 was the closest one
The bulbs are interchangeable. They are 881. I have Nokya "hyper yellow" halogen lights in mine. It did make it more yellow but not as much as I want so I ordered some yellow sheets from lamin-x.com that I'm going to put over the lenses. That stuff is pretty cool...apparently it's the stuff they use on the Le Mans cars. You know those Porsche race cars you see with the yellow headlights. Anyways...hopin it turns out good
1 point for me:bandit:
what is the light bulb for the little light *running light* in the corner or the headlight by the grill???? i've wanted to replace it forever it's like 1 watt
That little light is interchangeable with the 194, 168, and 158 bulbs at least. When I put Plasma GT-X bulbs in those it really made it look nice. You have to have Silverstars at the very least though or your headlights will look really dim and yellow in comparison.
Yeah I got some blue #194 LED wedge bulbs from http://www.superbrightleds.com/ for the parking lights (those little corner ones) and it looks sick. Needless to say, I don't drive with them on and no headlights (illegal), but you don't really notice them much when my headlights are on.

number one why would you want yellow headlights???? my 1982 plymouth sundance my first car ever had yellow lights and you can have them if you want and also does the warranty cover the headlight replacement for the first year and am i gonna have to re aim after replacing bulbs????? j/w get at me:smoking:

Techincally, yes. But you really can't tell that they're there when I have my headlights on. And any blue light that you can see just just makes the headlights look like they're kinda-HID-ish...ha.

I don't want yellow headlights... I just want Yellow fogs. I'm doing a tri color pattern. (yellow fogs, Blue running lights, and somewhere between 4500k-6500K headlights probably) Ever since I saw a similar light pattern on an eight-six, I've loved the look. I plan on using the Lamin-x stuff too, only on the fogs. As for the warranty thing... I don't have a clue. Sorry. Oh, and thanks for the Bulb # guys.

Quick chop of what I'm going for.
