I know this has been asked quite some time ago. But anyways, I live in the chicago/joliet area, have a 2001 elantra and would like to get some hyper whites for my car. First off were can i find them how much do they cost and do they put off a blue like light that u can acually see. Ive seen the cars that look like they have blue lights when your coming up on them but the light that is on the ground infront of them is white, i have also seen some cars were the lights look blue when your coming up on them and the light is also blue in font of them. I noticed that alot of ford trucks seem to have this. I dont have the money to install HID lights but i hear that the hyperwhites do a good job.

The easiest thing to do is find out what the part number is for your stock bulbs. Then take that number to a local rice shop or any auto parts store and find out what will match our number. Now days they are pretty cheap.

www.sylvania.com has the information on what replacement bulbs to use on your headlamps. I would buy the bulbs off of ebay, in my opinion the cheapest way to get them. If you want the highest quality, I would suggest getting PIAA bulbs, they are the best of all manufactures. I have Hyper industry bulbs that are pretty damm good for the price are paid, they are definately nicer than the stockies.

the lights u need are h4 i have some on my 01 the brand i got are "showoff" and they are pretty good to me they are nice and bright. they were about 40 bucks. when u get your lights u might want check how the factory ones are placed because i had trouble putting mine on with the clamps and all.i like them and they are bright but not like the civics but i think thats because the elantras headlights are not all clear like the civics. but then u can always order them from sharkracing
