Hey all,

This is my first post here and I am wondering about the price and what i read here about MSRP. What is a good price(Canadaian) for a new 03 Tibby V-6 GT.

I'm also alittle confused about the sport packages because the Hyundaicanada.com website doesn't have anything about that. It just has info about the 4 trim models. But i read in the Calgary Sun that there is a sport package and a couple others that swap out the leather seats and add ABS or somthin like that. I don't want the GS-r cause it takes the car well over 30 g's, only adding a sub and TC. Thx

Don't believe anything in the newspaper. There is no sport package or adding ABS to Canadian model<img src=/images/forums/snitz/guns.gif width=33 height=16 border=0> This is a lie. Go back to hyundaicanada.com and get all the information you need.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

the GT comes to about $25,995 with the 5-speed. I posted the exact numbers a while ago. Search under 2003 Tiburon Candian Prices should pull up the EXACT prices. I have the EXACT prices at home though and was going to post them yesterday again for you.

the GS-R is $28,995 (thats what I m getitng) and you only add the 6-speed, 7 speaker /w sub Inifinity 350w stereo and traction control. The difference if I am correct was $3,000.

I am not an audio fanatic but like a slightly louder stereo then average so thats why I like it, PLUS the fact that its 'cool' too have the 6-speed <img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0> since I want the V6 power but put on around 1,000 kms a week so gas mileage should be a bit better. I tend to cruise a bit faster then 100 km/h which is what the usual mileage calculations are set at.

Sup smiley<img src=/images/forums/snitz/approve.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> the city mileage on 6 speed is horrible <img src=/images/forums/snitz/disapprove.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> it seems like cause you gotta change gears more than 5 speed.. but as you say, over 100km/h you should be saving more than 5 speed I assume.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0> check the mileage on USA site though..

Not the most cost effective but...

Intake ~$100
Exhaust ~$600
Headers ~$1,500 <img src=/images/forums/snitz/eek.gif width=15 height=15 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/eek.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> Sharkracing but 15 hp there.

Or just strap on some juice, but at least do the first three, who knows what the summer will hold though, from what it is beginnning to indicate, the Tiburon is gonna be a hot car, hopefully some aftermarket companies climb aboard and make parts for the V6 since we are happy already with a lot of I4 parts.
