What are you locking threads for on subjects people want to debate. WTF? People are asking for top speeds...let them post. Maybe you don't feel like they are telling the truth on how fast they can go, or maybe your Accent can't go as fast. I don't know, but I for one am interested to know how fast the other Accents and Excels are going out there, as I am sure other posters are. It is healthy competition. Are you going to lock a thread becasue someone is posting a 13 - 14 sec 1/4 mile time and you are running 17's?

#1 This is where this post belongs.

#2 the 1st one was locked by me cause it was turning into a flame if i remember right or it just got way off topic.

#3 Rudy locked the 2nd one I believe for two resons. 1) It was just discussed is the obvious one. 2) The second thread was started in a way to challenge peoples opinions and would have also resulted in a flame.

I agree with locking the 2nd thread. The topic was already beaten down and after a thread is locked please do not start a new one trying to continue the discussion. This defeates the whole purpose of us locking it to begin with.

If you do not like the fact that it was locked to begin with then post here like JustiL did the other day. We will <b>consider</b> reopening it. then.

BTW I was the one who moved it and even though it is not harsh it is still a flame.

All flames do not have to be mean sometimes they are just valid questions. You dissagreed with the decision a Mod made and that is cool. You went about it in the right way just the wrong forum.

Also it will be helpful if you guys post a link so we know waht forum you are talking about. Ususally it is not as obvious as this one was.
