This is my fist post. I'm new here, and I like what I see so far. Is there anything I can do to my 2000 Elantra GLS, that won't cost a lot? What can I do for . . . . let's say $300, that will increase horsepower, and add speed?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/cool.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

I was wondering if there was any sites other than sharracing.com that would have some body kits for a 2000 elantra? And is there any sites that fully describe how to install parts. Like CAI, and others, I'm not sure what else to do to my car to make it faster. Tonight I ran a 1/4 mile 17.8 @ 86mph with my stock 2000 Elantra.

Nitrous is the best bang for the BUCK and the best part is it's only there when you NEED it.

About $500 should get you a system.

I stripped the baffels off my air intake,and drilled a lot of holes in the bottom of the air box.I also put bosch plus 4 plugs,and put all new exhaust on.The exhaust was the most exspensive part.I replaced from the front to the back.Taking all resonators and as many bends out as possible.Total cost was about 300 bills.My car at 1200 feet runs 15 secs pretty consistant in 1/4 mile.I lost some bottom end with the exhaust but picked up a lot on the top end.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
