I really like my 99 Tiburon, the only complaint I have is the head space. I've been having this idea now, for some time. I wanted to remove the driver's and passenger's seat and cut about 1 inch from where the seat sliders/supports sit on the floor. The cut be 1 inch deep (parallel to the doors) and about 1 inch wide (so that the seat sliders/supports would be almost flush with the floor).

I don't wanna do this unless I know there are no problems. What do you guys think of this idea?

What other types of things have you guys tried to do to create more head space?

i agree. lean the seat back and depending on who your in your car with; slide it all the way back and theres no tellin what you can do:. but seriously i dont think you need to cut it down

i'm 170cm tall and my car is a 97 tiburon and I find there's plenty of head room space.

But I think if your over 190cm tall, I reckon the head room would be an issue.
If leaning the car seat back doesn't work and I haven't anyone do an interior alteration before.

Although I'm thinking of getting a Motor interior trimmer to remove all my back seats and carpets to Reduce weight on my car.
