It's somewhere around there, but remember, you also have to add in the cost of refilling the Methanol routinely, which last I checked is about $150 a refill.

I don't think that it's that expensive. When McIntyre owned the dealership they were charging $4200 for the complete kit. Now, it is no longer owned by McIntyre, it's now Hyundai of El Paso. None of the original people that worked for McIntyre work for them, although they can still get the kit. I personally don't trust getting it through the new dealership.

McIntyre and all the people that did the work on the twin engine Tib were planning on opening up a separate shop in El Paso called Dragon Fabrications, the same name they used through McIntyre. The last I heard they did not have the shop set up although they have an affliation with a motorcycle shop in El Paso. I forget the name but I will check it and let you guys know.

If Dragon Fab actually opens in the near future, I would trust them a lot more on my car. Also, I guarantee that the prices will be a lot cheaper since it is no longer run through a dealership.

I think that kit makes a great race kit but as far as a daily driver kit I think you would be much better off with a standard turbo kit.

McIntyre blows, my opinion.....there are reason it s no longer McIntyre Hyundai

My opinion....anyway

I know they are around in that area if you insist on finding them. And Meth is not as expensive as $150, from what they told me, you can used the garden variety in the stores which is mixed with all other kinds of crap, plus you they said you can buy 50 gallon drums for as little as $50.

But who knows, simply what they told me. Good Luck
