and the winner was.. ME!! My first race ever and I beat my friend's v6 probe. Both automatic cars, both stock engines, no mods at all.. The funny thing was that after we race down the main highway we pulled in the parking lot right afterwards, 2 minutes later, 3 cops go by... someone probably called it in.. there were a lot of people behind us at the light too but we didn't care..

Well I just wanted to let everyone know that.. because I was pretty darn excited, So were are my other friends that didn't expect my to win.

Nice job on your win! A lot of people think that tiburon's are slow but I have proven many people wrong in my hometown especially when a girl pulls up beside me in her car and revs her engine at me. Then it is a must to race her. If you know what I mean. I'm glad other girls are as interested in tiburons as me<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

hell yeah, respects to the Tibby!"...Mine is stock too, auto..only thing i did was put a k&n filter in it no biggy, and I think they have a nice set of balls for their engine...now the Car I owned before was a bonny 3.8 v-6, it has nice torque but its so damn heavy, so it needs that size of an engine. Even in the auto the tibs r quick lil cars...and lighter then most cars out there with a decent engine. Never liked probes anyways...Damn cops, have nothing better to do then to travel in pairs just to pull someone over for window tint [email protected]#$ em'<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>

Haha good kill on the Probe, my Kills inclue a 1998 Civic EX w/ exhaust (lost control on a turn at 80mph but no big deal <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>, a Mustang v6, a 4cylinder mustang, an SS (he wasn't really racing hard, and just wanted everyone to have a laugh, lol.) a firebird 3.4L, a 96 Civic, an Accord, but I got smoked by a 95 Accent running like 20 lbs. of boost<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>. But it's all good. And I was pulling an Avenger real hard in the opposite lane trying to pass him going like 65 in a 40 and a car was coming so i had to slam on the brakes, and lose . then I've been beat by a Diablo, but that was in a Firebird. And I've been beat twice by vipers, many times by vettes, Somehow beat a Z3 sriven by an old man, lol, hmmm. And in a sigle highway race I lost to Supra, C5 Vette, and like a 5.0 Mustang. Lost to a Camaro on the highway and topped put my car at like 120, where are my other 20 miles? I could have gone faster, but I forgot to put over drive on. Redlining in my last gear, made me realize that was the fastest that I'd ever go in that car. Now I may do some performance mods to a Tib or I might just buy an RX-7, but we'll see what happens in the end......
