hey guys i did a similar grill mod to my 2001 accent gs, i went to home depot and picked up wire mesh gutter covers ( in the building supplies isle. ) its like $6 for a pack, u can easily cut it to size, i 1st primed it then spray painted it with black paint and attaced it with those little cable zip ties, it took less than an hour and looks pretty cool i gotta say <img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Heya,

I did exactly the same thing. Save for mine is silver instead of black. Best part, i think its either stainless steel or aluminum, so its resistant to rust. I also hacked my front clip, to give it a very large mouth, and put it in. It took a whole sheet length and width to fit into the mouth. I didnt even have to cut it!
Cheapest body mod I ever done.

Going from point A to point B in a Hyundai! I may be old school, but have been driving Hyundai's for many years!
