Okay...well I have a 97 GL V6 Sonata, it is okay engine, but I want more power. So I was wondering if anyone knows some good stuff to add to the engine to get some more HP. Also does anyone know if the engine can handle having a supercharger, and if so, what do they range in price and who is a good manufacture?

an engine swap is the most "ideal" solution to increasing HP on your particular models...

with some minor modifications... you could drop in a Turbo Diamond STar motor..(mitsubishi)

lilshowoff3 I think hdkautosport.com has superchargers but they arent listed you have to call them and they will tell you the price

Stay away from HDK. Too many people have had problems with their service and how long it takes to get products.

Dropping the 4g63T Which is the Turbo motor that is put in an eclipse should not run you that much more than a supercharger.

Wouldn't you have to change the tranny too? And is that a big deal? I would definetly have to - I have an auto...

The thing is - and I'm not disclosing any more info - I MAY have access to an Eclipse Turbo. But agonizingly have too little money right now.
