MOVED: 2L beta1 in x3 gt 96 ?

I want to know if swap a beta 1 in my gt 96 dohc is a big wirring job and if i have to swap the ecu for the 2L ecu?I have no fear about bolt the engine and cluch is just a wirring question. I if is like swap a sohc because I`m coil on plug.please help quick thank you.
