How do you put a whole bunch of songs on one cd?

If you burn them in Mp3format you can fit up to 10hrs on one CD. I do this for work since I bought an mp3 cd player for my store.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

When I burn it as a data cd, my cd mp3 player won't play the songs it will show track 1 but you can't go to any other tracks and nothing plays.

Are you sure that your CD player reads MP3?... Try and burn them as audio format and see if that works. If it does, you don't have an MP3 player, buddy, just a CD player.

i recently put a blaupunkt san jose mp3/wma player in my excel....u must learn to burn cds properly . by that deck then get some buddies to burn **** and learn from them<img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

So you can burn mp3 files to a CD as audio and it will play on a normal CD player?
Is this correct?
Do you need any particular s/ware or will most CD recording software do this(I have Adaptec DirectCD)?
Also can you also burn wav files as adudio?

nononono, u can burn MP3 songs to a cd but u need a MP3 cd player in order to listen to them. No ordinary Cd player will play them. If u want to burn mp3 cds u can use Nero Burning Rom, that is the best burning software out there. In Nero just go to a Data Cd and drag and drop ur mp3s in to the CD and hit burn and it will burn over 10 hrs of music on one CD. Its great to take off ur mp3s from ur computer for more space, u can always go back to the cds and get them off there if u want to listen to them later.

Or you could convert the mp3 files into wav format which is the format of ordinary cd, and then burn them as audio cd and you could listen on any players.

you need an mp3 player to play mp3s
you need a cd player to play cds

Tooo sum up

1) buy cd player that plays mp3 format
2) burn cd as DATA cd w/ mp3 files on it
3) finalize or close the cd (in your burning software
4)get a life! <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
