So how does one go muffler shopping? I have a 2018 Elantra 2.0L n/a and I'm trying to make it louder. Could anyone tell me the dimensions I need to know to buy mufflers? I was also wondering in I have to get both mufflers, or if I should swap one out with a resonator. A brother in need of help, thanks


I'm also slapping a cold air intake on it if that affects your answers

Maybe delete the rear muffler and have straight through pipes? There are many ready-made rear axle back exhaust systems available for the 2018-2021 Elantra so you could install it yourself. A decent axle back set up won't be cheap but deleting the muffler will bring the price down. It'll be plenty loud...
