I got my ass wipped by one today I was on my way to work and I had a white GT behind me at the light I punched it peeled tires and I was gone I dont think he was racing me at first until he realized that I wanted to race so when he started to see me pulling away it was on I was going like 80 when I could see him like 3-4 cars behind me and then he got closer I started to hit 115 mph and then the ****er blew by me like I was standing still but I felt like If i had a manual Iwould have got him or put my car in D3 maybe but Mustangs are fast ass hell but I stayed behind him going like 123 to his maybe 135 but It was cool to race one even if I got my ass whipped
Now I really want a V8

if you think a N/A V6 sonata is going to be faster (even with a 5spd) then a GT then your just stupid <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

you know the GT with a decent driver, with stock tires/internals does high-mid/high 14 second 1/4 right? you think a sonata can keep up with that?

sorry. unless the guy had absolutely no clue that you were racing (in which case, why is that a kill at all?) he couldn't have possibly lost that race, he could have started in reverse, done a small burnout, then put it into 1st, while giving you at least 4 car lengths and still probably would have cought up to you by 100.

i know when i race GT's it pretty much comes down to drivers as to who wins. so yeah. i'm definately raising the BS flag on this one. i just wish i had that little picture <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Oh I new he would walk my ass down but honestly if he was really racing me he didnt past me until I hit a 100 but i dont think that he was really trying to race me until he hit like 90 and realized that I wasnt slowing down so I guess he figured that he needed to end that race <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0> But I like I said Mustangs are fast as hell and I knew I never had a chance I just wanted to see how fast they are and I found out
