I took my car in to get a new tranny put in and it has been turned in to a big paper weight. They put in the new tranny and drove it lastnight and said it was running fine. Called today to see when i could pick it up and the what they said totally shocked me. The car would not even start this morning after they changed the oil. So then they start to change the sensors. After they change all of them the car finally starts but guess what....it doesnt want to go anywhere. Next they plug it up to a computer and they said it was throwing odd readings from the throttle. They called the National Hyundai engineers and after calling up a special meeting they make a list of stuff for the mechanics to do and check. After they check all of the stuff on the list all they could come up with was to re-wire a new harness to something? Guess what? My car still will not go and all of the Hyundai engineers are stumped!!!!! I am w/o a car and they might have to send down an engineer from the national level so they say. Oh and no loaner either At least the service manager is bewing cool about it.

too bad weeble, maybe if they can't fix it they can cut you a deal on a 2003 Tiburon V6 6-speed fully loaded. Like "all the hassels and emotional anguish" you have to go through

Just a thought

This really sucks!!! They can not figure out what is wrong w/it. They replaced almost all of my sensors, rewired on a new harness for some other sensor, taken apart and inspected the whole feul delivery system and nothing has seemed to fix it. They said it will barely idle and if you push the gas it will bogg down to where it dies or won't move at all. If you tease it with very very very little gas it will climb up some speed but you can not push the gas any harder or it will bogg down or die again. He said they have changed the TPS sensor and checked all the others they installed and still no go. Has anyone else had this happen or know what could possible be causing this??????? PLEASE HELP!!! I am about to people

Hm.. Sorry to hear about your car but doesn't Hyundai have a program or it's part of the warrenty or something that they lend you a car if it's their fault for messing up your car? I think I remember the dealer saying that to me when I bought mine. If not just bitch and moan till they lend you a car. Hell maybe if you bitch enough they'll give you a new Tiburon.
