That's a sweet pic. It's hard to get such good digital pictures of light sources at night like that.

I've got a bunch of desktop images, I rotate them pretty frequently...

Here's a shot of my car last winter

Here's a shot I did where I cut my car out and superimposed it over a night photo of Boston, and a shot of a stang burning rubber on the other monitor.

Here's a fade split I did of the GT500 and my car

And here's what I currently have on my computer, a dual screen mix of Need for Speed Most Wanted screeshots.

I shopped the pic a bit to get rid of the light posts and stuff; you might wanna take another look.

A couple of comments on your pics: First of all, how do you keep your finish so shiny in the winter?? And second... if you did the fade with the Mustang on top of the Elantra, the perfect caption would be, "When I grow up, I wanna be a...."

As far as the lighting goes, I used my cheap little Kodak digi on the night setting and put it on a tripod. Much better than trying to hold steady!

Doohickie, that pic is incredible. You did a really nice job picking a location to take the pic, the illuminated terminal in the backgroudn really draws attention to the grill of your Elantra. Looks very professional, nice work!

I had wanted to get a better pic of the lighting in my grill and had been looking for the right spot. Fortunately my son's flight in was delayed and I had a half hour to kill. That pic was taken with a Kodak digital camera which costed me less than $100. The reason it's better than previous grill pics I've taken is that I set the camera on a tripod.

Thanks for the compliments.... I kinda like the pic too!
