Don't know what it is. My GLS is a magnet for every insecure SUV, Full-size P/U or Van driver in town.
I actually took a friend out with me just so he could see for himself. If
we came up to a light with some "big" vehicle a pathetic attempt to race would often follow. The Elantra
growls...even under moderate acceleration...which may be what sets em off. They look over (down actually) at me and gun it...no matter what their driving. They can't allow a "little" car get ahead of their "Big" one I guess. I ignore some of em, race a few if they look like they have anything even a little quick or I'm bored. Todays selection was a reeeeeally persistant Jeep Cherokee.
It was a V-6, not the Grand Cherokee
though..probably an auto. I raced him four times. He always jumped ahead two car lengths before I caught him at winding up 2nd gear.
He looked over at me as I went by and opened up several car lengths.
I guess he decided that my winning distance was an optical illusion or I just got lucky. I had to spank that silly bitch four times and he was still coming <img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0>. Persistant little fvck.
