Hey,
Im a new meber here so I don't know much about how this forum works. I was just looking for some answers to my questions.
My 98 Silver Tib was stolen and vandalized about a month ago. Every exterior body panel has been damaged and every thing in the interior has been either cut or scratched. The insurance company denied my claims for certain stupid reasons. I am appealing the decision but I need to know if anyone has any online information sites about tibs that I could use to help me fix it up. I have it back on the road but it still needs a lot of work. I have been to an online tib repair manual that was endorsed by Hyundai. I do not remember the url though. If anyone knows this url please send it to me. I appreciate any information or help. Thank you.

Dude, I'm glad to hear that you got your car, back...it sucks that the insurance company is giving you the run-around.

One piece of leverage you can use against them. Take your car to the most expensive body shop in town. Get a written estimate.

Mention that it will be $8000 (or whatever they come back with) to fix your car...but that you are willing to do it for half that.

Then use www.copartfinder.com to source out used parts, and a reasonaablly priced body shop to do the re-paint (and maybe factor in a body kit?). They might just come around....

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.

It's great to hear you got your car back. It just sucks because some people just don't have any respect for other people's ****. You best bet to find some parts cheap would be to goto junk yards and search around.<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

What I would do is totally street racing inside of it: Sparco seats, a roll cage and go from there
