need advice on installing a/c on beta accent

I've currently been busy all week trying to put air conditioning on my 2001 hyundai accent

thing's were going a little smoothly until i hit a few major snags

1:The A/C fan won't fit because it's too close..it's even touching the cat converter and exhaust manifold..taking manifold cover off help's some but the fan is still touching the cat converter. Is a aftermarket slim fan the only alternative??

2:The evaporator that i bought has a stripped hex screw and i can't install it with removing the thing on the evaporator that connect's between the firewall and the A/C lines

3:The a/c button doesn't seem to be working..i plugged in all the connector's to the fan and the compressor and the switch and i tried to turn it on to see if the switch would work, but it doesn't..i installed all the necessary fuse's but no luck..

i have to go to the junkyard where i bought it and return my item's i bought
and i also gotta pick up my new evaporator that i picked ordered from hyundai

so the remaining parts i need to finish this project is the a/c belt, a/c lines and the condensor and a a/c fan...it would be nice if someone closeby would sell these to me.

HELP PLEASE!!

i especially need to know how ben kept a/c in his beta LC!!
how'd you do it??

Hey, I had to use a slim fan that I got at Pep boys for $40 or $50 bucks for my a/c to work. That was about it. Sounds like thats what you need to do is get a slim fan and that is real easy to install.
so you used the beta a/c compressor and the LC A/C Lines??

Did you have any trouble fitting the line's to the compressor and the evaporator?
did you have to bend them a little?
