Hey all,
I got a 3-Bar MAP sensor to install when I install my computer. I know how to do the ECU but am lost on how to switch the MAF for the MAP. I don't know where it should be placed on the pipes or how to wire it up. Any Help?

Thanks

you could use the 3 bar + maf if you're using something like emanage. if all you got was a map sensor, then there are some missing pieces to using it (standalone or piggy back ecm). even if it is a direct replacement, you need to tell the ecm what the 0-5v represents.

It has a 5V input a signal output (I assume to the ECU) and a ground. I just need to know if I can use the MAF wires and how it needs to be hooked up to the intake pipe, assuming that goes in place of the MAF.

nope your ecu can not compensate for a MAP just cuz you cut the wires and connected them

map reads entirely different than maf

the ecu wont be able to calculate anything
