where can i go to get information on a transmission swap, from auto to 5 speed? anyone know of any sites i can consult? or should i contact the dealer?

Uh...what do you mean by "info"?

You need to ask specific questions.

the HMASERVICE site has all the info you will ever need, how to remove an auto tranny, and how to install a manual tranny.

Then you'll need the wiring diagrams to know how to splice the manual tranny sensors into the auto tranny wiring harness.

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.
