i need a stock accent muffler for the 2000 and up accent. i need one from a GL 4 door preferably. so does anyone have one and how much you asking? need it form the catback not the just the muffler i need the tube.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

U know there is a diff between the 1.6 and 1.5 muffler right? I am not sure about technicaitys of it.. one comes out straight (1.5) and the other curves up then its pipe comes down(1.6)

They have a different size piping and I would also assume that the bends are different to.

Just curious why do you need a stock muffler? You selling your car?

I'm pretty sure he needs it to get the dealer to work on his car. He's having a problem with low gas mileage, and the dealershit is blaming it on his aftermarket muffler.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/mad.gif width=16 height=16 border=0>

I have most of the stock cat back piping and muffler from my 2000 GL 1.5L.

yeah skierd is right damn dealer is blaming my muffler for my 35-20 milage drop so until i get it changed back to stock they wont do anything so i need that. and DOC if u can please get me a pic of your stock muffler? that the thing i knwo ther are 2 different kinds of mufflers for the accent btu not sure if the change is in 1.5-1.6 or 4 door and hatch. thanks a lot you guys

If you have the 1.6 its not the same as what your car had stock.. he has the 1.5.
