Do you have the 1.8 or 2.0? (sorry...I don't know really know much about Tiburons...)

Alright, so if I would need to get a new engine, where could I find one, and is there anything else that would fit in my car (preferrably something a little bigger)

he has a 2001, and they only had the 2.0
there is no "bigger motor" option, only upgrade is kinda the beta2 motor out of the 01+ elantras, and 03+ tiburons, but they wouldnt be a drop in, in any way. they would involve swapping parts from your current motor to make it work.

I'd like to throw a new engine in my 2.0 Tiburon as well. It's currently at 153,000. Personally, I've been looking for one on Ebay and they seem to have some decent deals on Tiburon and Elantra Engines.
a beta from a junkyard shouldnt cost more than $350 with 35,000 miles.
