This is from The Auto Channel, for the base v-6 Mustang (190 hp), pretty typical
of what I've seen elsewhere.
0-60 7.0
1/4 mile 15.5
I've also seen 7.2 a few times.
If you can beat these times your home free. If you can't, your screwed.

Oh yeah. You always have one other shot...the guy could be a lousy driver, that can add up to a few car lengths.

Those things are pretty quick. I beat one of the previous styles in my Accent GT but when I raced one of the newer ones, he smoked me. I thought I could beat one in my new Tib but I guess I'll have to wait for a few more mods.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/disapprove.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Yup.. new mustang v6's are qucik with a 5spd.. they kinda lack as most cars do with an auto.

Ive beaten 2 v6 cameros so far...both from rolls of about 40 km/h to about 150 km/h ...

The older one I went from my front bumper at his back bumper to... his front bumper at my back bumper...

The newer one I raced...I duno what happened there but I beat him by about 1 and a half car lenths...
