The older SS involved cutting your shifter plate to make it fit, and make it shift smooth. The new one has no cutting involved. <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

So let's say, for instance you already have the short sifter installed in the car, if I intend on buying the other shifter, would I be able to install it, eventhough I made those modifications for the first one?
