I heard that SR was coming out w/ a new short shifter .. if so, when can we expect to see it?

It'll be out soon. It's in early production phases now. It's a direct bolt in, and it will have better throw rate than the existing short shifter...all for around 100 bux.

I don't want to sound stupid, but I really want to understand this... what will be the difference?

Silky..that's not a stupid question. Alot of peeps usually wonder stuff like that! Anyway...it's a direct bolt in. The older SS involved cutting your shifter plate to make it fit, and make it shift smooth. The new one has no cutting involved.

nice pic woahsharky If the new short shifter will be anything like the older version, it rocks! I love mine..not only does it make your throws better, but it looks so cute

So let's say, for instance you already have the short sifter installed in the car, if I intend on buying the other shifter, would I be able to install it, eventhough I made those modifications for the first one?
