i have a 2002 Accent 3 door SOHC, and i just started to get into hyundais and i dont know alot about them. i was wondering what is the difference between beta 1 and beta II motors? about how much would it cost to get one and if i did start to upgrade my car where do you think i should start?

Dunno, but start with a beta.
Here, read this http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/topic.php?t=61323 There are other beta swaps that can be read as well in the Hybrid forum. As far as the differences between beta 1 and 2 I am not to sure, I knoe beta 1's were availible in a 1.8 and the newer beta 2's have cvvt. I have a beta 2 without cvvt from an 02 elantra.
