yeah i just wrecked mine and im having body work done to it, but when i get it back, there are still some things im looking for. i would like to get some custom gagues or indiglo ones if i can find them. maybe a short shifter, i already have a cold air intake, i want to possibly turbo charge it (if that is safe) i guess if you can do it to an eclips you can do it to an elantra but after how much ill be spending on the repair work and my tickets i wont be looking at turbos atleast for a few months. i was curious about the underdrive pulley... someone was saying there are some negative effects of putting one on there. i already know where i am getting my exhaust and ive been considering dualing it out. its going to be faster than hell when im done with it.

elantra.... i love this car, she's a speed demon waiting to be unleashed.

Dang!
Didn't you just get your car?
That sucks!

Three months after I got my car, I was hit from behind in a snow storm, going down an icy hill(Big a$$ hill, think San Fran style hill), when an '89 Land Rover(back then, they were made out of pure steel, none of that plastic crap like today) slammed into me...My car flew kinda sideways until I hit a curb. The rear of the car was totally destroyed. My front tires were mangled onto the curb, the front bumper was cracked and so on... I was in shock! I stood there in the snow and watched people slowly drive over pieces of my baby...
The next day, I came out of it, and cried for hours.

Since my car was so new, it took two and 1/2 freakin' months to fix it. They hadn't started to produce replacement bumpers, etc...So I had to wait and wait and wait.

I was so excited when I drove him home again..We had missed eachother! It was also Spring, so we didn't have to worry about snow for a long time...

Ouch IR2, that sucks. I hope they did a good job on the body work Because whenever I detail peoples car, I can tell if the car has been in an accident or not because I can tell by the shade of the color, if its different or not compared to the rest of the car from a crap body shop paint job...I know 3 of my friends, whos cars have been hit, but they don't know and I didn't tell them....Only I can tell because I have the know-how on detailing and can tell differences in shades/shines in the paint. If mine ever gets hit...Its over, I get it fixed and trade it in the next morning for a new 2001 Elantra or whatever the current year may be. Cause I will go nuts because I can see the differences!

I eat Honda Civics for breakfast, Toyota Corollas for lunch, and Volkswagen Jettas for dinner
