About two weeks ago i was searching online for hoods and came across this site called NGMhouseofpower.com which had some decent hoods. I came across one that was advertised in the description as $0.00. so i processed the order and recieved a conformation/receipt at my email address. good to go right? kind strange i thought but hey you never know. Well turns out when i called asking about the order they laughed at me when i told them i wanted my hood. i was told there was a glitch due to the webmaster and that i wouldnt be getting that hood unless i re ordered it and paid in full. So after a few minutes of the person on the other end of the line cracking jokes on me and teasing me i decided to end the conversation. What i want to know is if something was shown and confirmed as when you ordered it, wouldnt you want the product you ordered reguarless of there is an error? what would you do or say?
No, I would not expect to get something for free because it was priced at $0.00 on a website due to an error and neither would any other rational individual.
And no the law is not on your side. You paid nothing, and got exactly what you paid for.
The price tag vs. actual price laws are state level. So it depends on yours and what they have to say about internet based products. I'd say you really don't have a leg to stand on trying to get the hood for nothing.
I think you should get a full refund on your $0.00 for it to be fair.
Maybe he shipped you the new prototype invisible zero weight performance hood and you can not see it on your front porch. Quick, go outside and feel around and you may find it!
alot of places will put a price of $0.00 when the item is out of stock. Yes it sould have been noted "out of stock" but like they said, it was a glitch.
As long as you got your $ back its all good right.....
