Anyone know where I can buy a Nissan Silvia here in the US? I tried the people who sell the Skylines, but they don't sell Silvias and they don't plan on selling it either

I've been searching online for the past couple of days but I have been unsuccesful.

Your help would be gladly appreciated...

You'll have to buy a 240SX and convert it.

You'll have to live with an S14 as well as the 240SX version of the S15 never made it stateside.

Rob,
they are basically The same car, Just a different title, Im pretty sure I used to have one long time ago. Conversion from a 240SX from a Silvia S15 shouldnt be hard. There isnt much difference. Just like the Elantra and tibby. not much difference except the body. My 89 240sx came stock with 150 HP I think and it was a Automatic. I put a muffler with catback on it and it was pretty damn fast. I beat honda's no problem even with it stock. It IS a good car. But when **** happens to it like maintaance it will cost you a FORTUNE! Nissan has always been that way. They have good engines. just everything else is made of ****. Interior= My ****in dash borad even with a dash cover and Vyndal protection had 3! cracks in it. When I was racing my right rear tire HIT a wall and bent the uniframe. So there bodiest arnt strong. The only thing I never had problems with is the Engine. Oh yeah they are rear wheel drive BTW. Good car to fix up if you have $$$$$$$$$$$$

The front and rear of the S14 and the S15 are different, and I remember right, the suspension and most of the car too .

Another thing you'd need for a succesfull Silvia conversion would be to get rid of the KA24 and put an SR20DET in there.

i am the silvia god

there are currently 2, count em 2, genuine jdm silvias in the u.s. you will not be able to import one unless you have an excessive wallet. like rob said the s14 and s15 have different front and rears, but nothing BOMEX cant help you with . to get the full effect of a silvia you need to throw out the shitty truck engine (KA24) and drop in the ooh so beautiful turbo silvia engine (SR20DET). if you dont have the flow to import a SR20DET then there are turbo kits for the truck engine, but what fun is that? matter of fact i believe it was sport compact car last month that compared 4 240's its worth it to check it out if you want to do this, its a great article. NOTE: the only simlilarity between an american 240 and a jdm silvia is that they have the same body style, everything else is different.

have fun with this if you go through with it, silvias are one of my dream cars.

I remember a while ago, there was a big deal about Silvias in the U.S.
Some Japanese Street Racers were giving Super Street a hard time. Saying crap like, "The only Real Silvias are in Japan. Yours are Fake," Blah, Blah, Blah.
They thought that if you brought parts over from Japan and built your own, yours didn't have the right to be called a Silvia. Some people are Idiots!!!
