I ahve17x7.5" Motegi's, +40mm offset, with 215/40ZR17 rubber. They have better road grip than stock tires because of softer rubber and more contact patch. They really "feel" the road, though. Rims and tries don't make a huge difference in handling unless you get lightweight rims with some drag radials. Springs, Struts, and Strut Braces are more important.
