It's called a "steering wheel puller". Yes, I'm being serious.

Harbor Freight Tools has a puller set on sale until Feruary 11th for $5.97. Normally, I don't like buying tools there because most of their stuff is pretty crappy, but that same style puller set is $35.00 at Checker. For $5.97, even if it breaks after 2 or 3 uses, it was still worth it. Tell them you're looking for the puller set that's on sale. It's on page 3 of their current advertisement.

Thanks man, I'll go pick one up.

Reason why I need it is because you have to pull the steering wheel off before you can take the dash off to get to the Evaporator unit and the AC ducts and vents, Just another stage of weight reduction that I'm trying to perform.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Well, I just got one today. If you'd like to borrow it, call me: 219-3803. I'd like to take a look at your headlights, if I could. I need to look at the wires. I'm having problems with a short somewhere in my headlights. My plugs have been replaced because the factory plugs had melted. I'm not sure if the wires are hooked up correctly, and I'd like to compare to a factory wired car. Let me know, Thanks.
