yea..whats the said miles for that warrantee? my car came with 63K and paint missing from the front bumper!

the thing is..u need to get this kinda crap refinished not just "repainted" i can get the whole car painted for like 250 right now (its half-price at like macco or something..) but to get my front bumper refinished at the place were i got the deer damage repaired (and the did a niiice job too) they said it'd be like 189 or so to have the bumper refinished just the bumper! but it would look like new... and prolly last longer

Does the term "SOL" mean anything to you? the warranty on the paint is an 'anti-perforation' warranty. If your car rusts all the way through, the paint was faulty and they'll fix it. Otherwise, it's up to your dealer- bring donuts.

Paint missing from the front bumper is almost certainly NOT covered, and if it was that way when you got it, you should have had it repainted before you took delivery.

That said, good luck with your dealership dealings!

You are definitely entitled to have that fix under warranty, wytch. They should be able to tell that its flaking off and not you hitting something and scratching the car, causing that.

If I'm not mistaken, the "paint" warranty is only 12/12000 or 12/10,000.

It seems hyundai knows they have crappy paint and only warranty it for a very short time....

I thought it was 5 years. In the body/corrosion warranty, which I thought would include that. I guess if the body doesn't start to rust or rot, its not covered

Good thing I wash and wax mine a lot, no problems yet

the 5 years is rust, the one year is "finish" which includes the clear coat and the paint itself.
