Just curious how hard it would be to paint some of the parts. Like red or something, I was thinking of doing it to the calapers or whatever they are called, the part that pushes the brake pad against the rotor, thanks

Not hard just use caliper paint. If you are careful you can paint them without taking them off. Just don't get paint on the rotors.

I think some red calipers with chrome rims on a black Tib would look nice.

However, black is such a neutral shade that you can use any color as long as your rims are fairly neutral, and it will still work.

I have a black tib and I want to do them candy blue.
But I'm probably have to take it too a body shop to do. Can't find the right paint. All the blue caliper or even engine paints are so dull. I want something with a little lustre.
Any ideas?

Look for Fola Tec Caliper Paint. It is a "brush on" type Lacquer. Their blue is really blue, and that paint does have some serious luster to it.

Keep in mind...that your brakes are going to be covered in brake dust most days...so you will never SEE the Luster of your paint job. But for Car Shows, It might make them stand out a little better.
